Clan Terms:

All cadets in Clan Wolverine are required to know a few commonly used clan terms. For a full listing of clan terms/language, please refer to the appropriate page. The following is just a short list of the most commonly used expressions:

  Aff – Affirmative or Yes.

  Neg – Negative or No.

Quiaff/Quineg - These expressions are placed at the end of rhetorical questions. If an affirmative answer is expected, quiaff is used. If the answer is expected to be negative, quineg is the proper closure.

Seyla – This word is the ritual response voiced in unison by those witnessing solemn Clan ceremonies, rituals, and other important gatherings. No one is sure if the origin or exact meaning of the word, but it is uttered only with the greatest reverence and awe.

BTZ – This is used when a person is finished with their drop on the Gaming Zone and stands for Back To Zone.

HWG – This is used in game and means Here We Go.

GL – Simply put this means Good Luck.

GH – This has been seen used in two different forms. One version meant Good Hunting and the other meant Good Honor.

  HF – Means Have Fun.

Codex – This is referring to the Personnel File of a particular warrior. You can find this listed under the Codex link in any Galaxy section.

TTYL – Talk To You Later.

  cya – See you later.

gtg – Got to go. Usually quickly...

  brb – Be right back.

afk – Away from keyboard, meaning they will not respond to comments for a bit.
