| Hail Warriors:
The following is an explanation of the Clan Wolverine Galaxy Structure. Information contained within this document has been supplied from many different sources. Since Clan Wolverine was the annihilated clan, we have a different approach to some command structure that other clans may not have. This document will start from the smallest unit in Clan Wolverine to the largest, then will explain the relationships between the Galaxies of Wolverine. The point is the smallest unit in Clan Wolverine. This unit is made up of one BattleMech. The Point is the most important part of the Clan Galaxy system. Without strong points, Wolverine would crumble like the ruins of the Star League. Points are ranked by their superior skill as pilots and warriors. Point one are the least experienced Mechwarriors, while point five is the most experienced Mechwarriors. The star is the next unit of organization of the galaxy system. The star is typically made up of five points (five Mechs = one star). The Star is under the leadership of a star commander. The star is a self-sufficient unit that has trained and fought together. A star of Clan Wolverine Mechwarriors may be the most feared unit in the entire universe. The Binary (Trinary) is the next largest unit within the clan. I will only speak of Binaries in this document, since there are no Trinaries currently in the Wolverine Clan. The Binary is made up of two stars of Mechwarriors, and is commanded by a star captain. The Binary usually is made up of a front-line and a support star, but may be changed to suit the situational needs of the Galaxy. The Cluster is a group of two or more binaries and has a minimum of 20 Battlemechs in its command. A Star Colonel is the highest ranking officer in a cluster. The cluster is approximately half of the strength of the galaxy in Clan Wolverine. A cluster from Clan Wolverine landing on a planet means annihilation and destruction for any that oppose them. The Galaxy is the largest organizational unit in Clan Wolverine. The galaxy is made up of two or more clusters and contains over 40 Battlemechs. The Galaxies of Clan Wolverine are Lethal Claw, Demon Knight, Storm Raven, and Dark Malice. A Galaxy Commander has the responsibility of leading and administering the Galaxy. There is no force in the universe that can stand the mighty swipe from any of the Wolverine Galaxies. The relationships between any unit in a clan is always a strenuous one at best. Clan rank has always been based on a warriors battle prowess. The points fight one another for honor, the stars, binaries, clusters, and galaxies all do the same. This creates healthy competition for rank and honor, allowing the better warriors to rise to the top. The relationships in clan wolverine are no different, except in the brotherhood of the Wolverine, all petty jealousies are put aside for the good of the clan. Yes, we fight amongst ourselves for honor and rank, but woe be the outsider that tries to divide the clan by boasting of unit superiority. The united might of Wolverine has vicious fangs. Every galaxy wants to lead the vanguard of any attack, each hoping to draw initial blood on the enemy. That is why the galaxies must fight between themselves. When you fight the best, you become the best. The only place for a trueborn warrior of the Wolverine Clan to find an able opponent is from another galaxy of the Wolverine. Though this competition comes camaraderie. The Wolverine Clan is a Brotherhood. We fight with tooth and nail against each other when we train and during trials, yet when it is time to strike at our foes, a bond is formed stronger than anything else in the universe. We honor each other by demanding the best from one another. Warriors will fight overwhelming odds, just because they do not want to let their brethren down. It sounds cliché, but there is no me in Wolverine. If after reading this, you think wolverine is separated into 4 galaxies and that we are a divided clan, you are very wrong. Galaxies, Clusters, Binaries, and Stars were created to help organize us into elite fighting elements. Over our hearts you see the mark of the Wolverine, but the outsider does not know that the mark of the Wolverine is in our hearts as well. - Khan Cloak McEvedy |
