All Clan warriors strive to bear the honor of a Bloodname. It is what their very existence revolves around and such an honor is not easily bestowed upon a warrior. The path that must be taken is long and hard, but the result is one that should be honored by all members of the Clan no matter rank or office. In this section, you will be indoctrinated in the path to a Bloodname so that you may set your eyes on the glorious horizon and firm your resolve. You will be able to look at the latest information our Archivist was able to gather concerning total Clan proprietorship and which names belong to Clan Wolverine. You will be able to view the list of currently Blooded warriors within this illustrious Clan and be able to determine which name you will request sponsorship from.
 
What does it take to achieve the highest honor a Clan can dole out? What does it take to be Blooded? To accept upon oneself the responsibility of the Clan on a whole through deed and display? This is where you will find the answers to those questions.
 
The Path to Blood:
 
We will forego the beginning that everyone must take, the entering of the Clan ranks as a Cadet, the ToE to Point, Star Commander, or Star Captain, and the time such things take. We will skip straight to the beginning of the path. It is a simple process of achievement in order to attain a Bloodname, ending with a petition and acceptance. Follow the steps and you will eventually succeed ... if your heart is strong.
 
  • Achieve a rank above Cadet through a ToE.
  • Remain free of demerits for one year.
  • Wait for yearly bloodname trial to be called.
  • Gain sponsorship from a previously blooded warrior.

  • Gain a position in the trial by winning the Free-For-All Bloodname Melee.
  • Win the bloodname trial.
 
Once part of the Clan, a warrior must achieve a rank of MechWarrior, at minimum. This can be done through a Trial of Position. After completing the Cadet Process, this warrior must remain an active member of the Clan for one year and stay demerit free. One demerit voids eligibility for another year. Currently, bloodname trials are held about once every year. The trials are called by the Khan and supervised by the Oathmaster. There are two ways a warrior may enter the trials. The first way is to be sponsored by another blooded warrior. This automatically enters the warrior into the trial. There may only be 15 sponsored warriors in the trial. One other way to enter the trial is to win the Bloodname Free-For-All Melee. This is where the non-sponsored warriors fight for one entrance position into the trial. Only 16 warriors may be allowed to participate in the trial. When the trial has begun, the victor shall be the holder of a new bloodname. The bloodname this warrior picks must not be in use by current Wolverines or warriors that are in the Remembrance Galaxy. If they choose to use a bloodname from a MIA Wolverine, they must strive to remember the actions of the deceased.
 
The Khan may strip any individual of their Bloodname for not performing up to par with Clan Codes and Laws. This may be contested by the individual before the War Council only if the Loremaster agrees to accept the petition. If the Loremaster accepts, the War Council will vote and the majority decides.
