Game Updates
In order to take part in league battles, you need to make sure that you are using the latest packs, updates and patches for the game. Currently, we are playing Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries and most of our games for both the MechReg and MWA leagues are played using the Mektek servers in game. You need to edit your registry to have the ingame directed properly or just download and install the MEKTEK file here and it will make the appropriate changes. In addition to the game, you will need to install the following updates just to get into the game rooms.


  -   MW4: Mercs PR1

  -   PR1 to MekTek MP3.02a - It's a whole new game girls and boys! This is for upgrading from PR1 to 3.02a ... the latest update to our game NOTE: This is for a clean install. If you have already installed any of the Mektek patches, you can get teh updates from the Mektek site and the HUD patch plus the high def patch must be removed. Most of out players have found that unless you do a clean install, you are going to get bugs.

  -   Clan and IS expansion packs (not mandatory, but highly recommended)

In addition to the updates, there are a whole series of maps that aren't part of the main game. They are listed in the Mech 4 Map Info section. Plus, NBT has an excellent resource for getting you "game ready".
